Most people don’t know how great they are supposed to feel in their bodies.
We have been taught to override, to push through, to numb out, and to keep going. Yoga, practiced properly, teaches the opposite. It teaches you to feel deeply into the parts of you that are trying to speak, to breathe into discomfort trusting that there is freedom on the other side, to understand regulation, and to return to yourself, over and over again.
